Ahhhh the patio. The ol’ project that never ends. We hurriedly built this patio in a matter of days, and it has taken us quite some time to get it just the way we want. I have lots of DIY tutorials to share with you on how we did things, but until then let’s just take in some pretty updates.

We built a framing/retaining wall this summer (again–tutorial that needs to be posted), and I knew right away those columns deserved some corn stalks.

Thanks to some good deals on pumpkins, flowers, and such, all the decorations cost $35.00. We’re lucky to live around a lot of corn. Like, a lot. So that was free!

I threw on some comfy pillows and a throw to soften things up a bit, but they’re temporary–just a little color to spice things up a bit. ‘Cause that’s what bloggers do. We spice.
